The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a reported shooting in the 2200 block of Arcadia Road in Forestdale at about 3:32 a.m. on October 31, 2026.
Responding personnel found an adult woman with apparent gunshot wounds. Forestdale Fire & Rescue provided care before she was transported to UAB Hospital. The sheriff’s office reported that she was in stable condition.
