Montgomery investigators announced an attempted murder charge in connection with a September shooting at a barbershop on Ann Street, according to a November 5 WSFA report.
Court records described allegations that Markis Watts and another person went to King Kutz, where shots were fired into the business. The person injured in the shooting was treated at a hospital for a gunshot wound to the leg and assisted investigators with identification, the report said.
Authorities accused Watts of attempted murder. WSFA reported that the second suspect had not yet been arrested when the story was published. The criminal charge is an allegation and does not establish guilt.
